About me
Hi. I'm Sarah - a "practical creative" who is passionate about solving tricky challenges with people centred solutions.
With a background in project and product management, operations, coupled with senior leadership experience, I bring a breadth of generalist capability to my consulting work.
I have worked across a range of organisations, from multinationals, and
government, to start ups and not for profits.
I pride myself at quickly being able to get to the "nub" of things.
I comfortably sit between strategy
and operations and am equally happy to drive strategic development, or deliver on operational objectives (aka I don't mind rolling up my sleeves and getting sh%t done!).
When I am not working, you will find me scouting op-shops, exercising, camping with
my whānau, walking the dog, or on the sports sideline watching my boys.
Contact me to learn more about what makes me hum.
Fractional COO
A fractional COO is a part time strategist who champions efficiency and provides strategic and operational leadership. This role is normally an integrated part of a senior leadership team.
My fractional skills are best suited when an organisation is establishing new ways of working. I am great at seeing opportunities for efficient, effective, people centred change.
Framework development
I am adept at developing frameworks to support service delivery and implementation.
Some examples of my work include:
-
new standards of service for a not for profit
-
a framework to support intellectually disabled people to use digital technology in a way that is safe, supports their wellbeing and aligns to EGL principles
-
a framework that ensures business alignment to government service delivery requirements
Facilitation
Guiding you through the strategic planning process, helping you identify your 1 year roadmap and 2-5 year horizon plan for your business.
Approach
Connect
One size doesn't fit all – so my preferred approach is to meet and have a chat to better understand each other's working style (vibe), values and whether we believe I am the right fit for your team.
Scope
Once you know I have the expertise you need, I will work alongside you to dive a little deeper into your business needs.
This might be distilling and capturing your strategic vision and shaping this into an achievable roadmap or it could be designing processes to ensure your business stays on track – any of the things causing you sleepless nights.
Flux tame
This is where the rubber hits the road, working to bring continuity, order, and consistency to your business and help you create your New Normal.
I will be your trusted advisor and safe pair of hands, walking alongside you to bring positive person centred organisational impact.
